organic make up
I only shop for make-up, like, once every year and i wanna know whats best. So which kind of make-up is best for a pale skinned blonde? Thanks! links are welcome.
Organic Wear smells funny. It really bothered me.
I use a mixture of Almay, Neutrogena, and Rimmel.
Almay for foundation/powder because it’s healthy and light, not chalky.
Neutrogena for mascara and lip gloss because the mascara has olive oil in it and feels soft on.
Rimmel for eyeliner and eyeshadow because they have crazy colors for a night out, and browns/blacks for every day.

organic cosmetics
i’m into buying some organic cosmetics, (face moisturizer,shampoo/conditioners,ETC.) i need
some places/stores/brands that is organic with no harsh chemicals (all natural if can), since im only
in young teen age so nothing harsh, i have kinda dry skin since it is kinda cold/normal ..also, a brand that actaully holds any nice products .. anything u tried before??
Bare Minerals!
They do not clog pores! Everything is mineral based and all natural! It may be a little pricey, but it works amazing! I use the foundation and it covers up everything! Check out the starter kit to get started with Bare minerals! Also, I would pick up the facial cleanser and moisturizer! for more information:

Hope this helps! ♥

organic beauty
I’m gradually trying to switch over to more natural brands of make up, hair products, etc. Any suggestions?
I’ve already tried the Physician’s Formula Organic Wear line, and I got good results.
Tarte, Bare Escentuals, Korres, Josie Maran….all at Sephora.

organic skincare
I found an organic skincare site but when looking at the ingredients, stearyl alcohol is included. I need to know if it is unsafe – or if it should even be in an organic product?
Stearyl alcohol is fatty alcohol used as an emollient and to help keep other ingredients intact in a formulation. See fatty alcohol.
And Fatty alcohol is made from fatty acids; fatty alcohols are used in cosmetics as thickening agents and emollients. They are not drying or irritating forms of alcohol.
Bottom Line: Stearyl alcohol or Cetyl alcohol are standard, benign, waxlike cosmetic thickening agents and are completely nonirritating and safe to use.

natural skincare
Vaseline is not a natural moisturizer. It’s petroleum based.
I recommend Lush moisturizers. They are fantastic. I’m absolutely in love with Enzymion. I have oily skin and it keeps it nice and matte. It has cocoa butter in it, which has really reduced my old acne scarring. You should definitely check out Lush. Your town might have a store, but if they don’t, you can order online. Just an FYI, if you are in the US, I’d suggest ordering from Lush UK’s website. Their prices are cheaper than the US website and the shipping is faster.
